Rimmel Lasting Finsh Foundations

Hi my name is Billie-Rose and this post is going to be about both of the newish 'Lasting Finish Foundations' by Rimmel London.

Firstly the 'Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation with Comfort Serum' This is one of my least liked foundations. I found this product to be very heavy, thick and also very sticky on the skin. It claims to be full coverage but I once you blend it out it goes down to about a medium coverage. This broke me out a lot and didn't control my excess oil at all. It also claims to last 25hrs but I think it has trouble lasting 6 hours on my skin without going orange and/or getting patchy no matter how I try to prep my skin and set the makeup. So I probably won't finish this bottle nor will I repurchase it.

On the other hand the 'Lasting Finish 25hr Nude Foundation' by Rimmel is one of my favourite foundations. This foundation claims to be medium coverage and it lives up to that. It is a buildable foundation so it can be worked up to full coverage. This feels light enough, doesn't break me out and lasts all day on my skin. I have never worn foundation for 25hrs so I wouldn't know if it lasts quite that long but it does last the working day for sure.

So all up I would really recommend the nude one over the one with comfort serum.

Favourite Blushers, Bronzers and Highlighters

Blushers: Milani Baked Blush- My favourite blush of all time is the Milani Baked Blush in number ‘06’. I love how this blush is a mix of a peachy, coraly colour with some highlighting streaks running through it. Elf Studio Blush- I find the elf studio blushers to be really good. I do tend to use my Milani blushers more but elf is next best for me. These blushers are very pigmented and I don’t find them to apply chalky or powdery whatsoever. I apply with a blush brush and use quite a light hand as the blushers are very much pigmented.   Bronzers: Elf Blush/Bronzer Duo- I think the blush/bronzer duo from the elf studio line are a great dupe for the nars duo. The bronzer is quite dark and I use a very light hand when applying this bronzer otherwise it can leave a muddy effect. Best Foundations And BB Creams For Oily Skin

Hey everyone in this post I am going to recommend a few foundations and bb creams that have worked for me despite my oily and acne prone skin. This is just in my opinion and these are just what worked for me. Foundations Revlon Colourstay- I really like this foundation as I find the coverage to be at a high level but it doesn't look overly cakey or thick on the skin. I find that I get the best results when I apply the product with my beauty blender as I think that it helps to achieve a nice even coverage. I also noticed that this foundation stays on my skin for a full working down and never broke me out. Almay Clear Complexion - This foundation is targeted at acne prone skin. It contains 0.6% salicylic  acid which helps combat acne. Again I find that I get the best out of this foundation when I apply with my beauty blender.
