Nude By Nature Review

Hi my name is Billie-Rose and in this post I am going to write about the Australian makeup/skincare brand 'Nude by Nature'. I first started wearing Nude By Nature when I was new to makeup and only wanted something really light and natural so I started with the 'Natural Tinted Mineral Moisturiser' and the 'Liquid Mineral Concealer'. The tinted moisturiser is very sheer. As I have used other products now and have gotten used to more coverage I find that the moisturiser is very light coverage and also hard to blend. I still do use this product though in between my primer and my loose mineral cover to give a little extra coverage and to also keep my makeup on a little longer. The concealer I really like. I find this concealer covers blemishes really well but I don't think it is amazing on dark circles. It is easy to blend and stays well on my oily skin. I don't like the 'Liquid Mineral Foundation' as I found it super hard to apply, thick, minimal coverage and I also had trouble making it last on my skin all day.

For a little extra colour Nude make some excellent products. The 'Soft Focus Illuminator' is great under foundation for just giving the face a sheer glow although you can work it up. I do find with this product that it is very pigmented and darkens foundation quite significantly so I would recommend only very small amounts for pale skins. I am a fan of both the Virgin Blush and the Crème Blush from Nude as I find them both to be very pigmented, blend well and look natural but can be worked up.

I have mixed feeling about the eye and lip makeup products from Nude as some are great and some are a flop in my opinion. I really like the 'Mineral Mascara' as I find it creates volume, length, and definition but you do need to wipe the excess of the brush before use otherwise it gets really clumpy. The 'Natural Eye Shadow Palette' is pretty good. I have the older version with the loose powders and I like how they make my eyes look when worn together but despite having a primer on underneath they don't last all day. The "Waterproof Natural Mineral Eyeliner' I didn't like too much. I have it in charcoal and it is not very pigmented at all and hurts to apply. I have only used this a couple of times don't think I will even finish the pencil. The 'Natural Lip gloss' in 'Flirty' was another flop me. It had a very strong scent which I didn't like and it just have a clear shine to the lips no colour at all, it also doesn't last very long at all.

I also tried the skincare range. The 'Nature's Super Anti-Oxidant Foaming Cleanser' was quite good as it never dried my skin out or left any makeup, oils etc.on my face but I didn't notice a dramatic difference in my acne which I struggle with. But it doesn't guarantee anything about acne so I think if you don't have acne prone skin it would probably be good for you. To match that cleanser I also tried the "Nature's Pore Refining Toner'. I liked this toner as it was gentle on the skin but it also contains both acne fighting and anti aging ingredients. Lastly I used the moisturizer (which I've forgotten the name of), this was ok although it felt more like a body butter. It still hydrated my skin but it felt thick and heavy all the time.

But for my absolute favourite products, I love the ' Undercover Airbrush Mineral Primer' it makes my skin nice and smooth, doesn't break me out and lengthens the makeup wear time. I also really like the loose 'Natural Mineral Cover and the loose 'Finishing Veil'. I am not a fan of the new pressed versions as I find them to be hard to apply, minimal coverage and don't last long but I really like the loose powder versions. I mineral cover has decent coverage, looks natural but can be built up, doesn't break me out and stays on all day. The finishing veil is also great because it soaks up most of my excess oil throughout the day and also makes my makeup nice and smooth. I like how it is white and goes on clear so it doesn't cake the face up.

So that is my review on some of the 'Nude by Nature' products. I hope this helped of you are still unsure or still wondering about whether to try this products, I would recommend that you do as majority of them are great. They are also all cruelty free and natural products. Please leave comments for other product reviews to do and I will do my best to bring those reviews.
Thankyou, Billie-Rose
